Economical deployment & integration
VTAP easily replaces readers for legacy ticket-types in turnstiles, ticket kiosks and handheld devices – thanks to in-built RFID card reading functionality and QR/barcode code scanner emulation.
VTAP readers can even operate gates and turnstiles directly in some applications, without the need for conventional additional door controller hardware.
No dedicated drivers or development software tools required. VTAP readers are designed to be easy to configure and manage.
Industry standard connectivity
The VTAP reader range includes Wiegand and RS-485 connectivity options for gate and turnstile control.
Flexible form factors
VTAP readers are available in compact casings ideal for retrofitting, as well as PCB modules (with customizable aerials) for inclusion within turnstiles and other access control equipment.
VTAP reader circuit boards are also available with a conformal coating for weatherproofing.
