Visitors don’t need to open an app or search for a QR code or physical ticket. The Apple Wallet and Google Wallet apps are always on standby for immediate use, just as they are for contactless payment. VTAP NFC Wallet readers automatically select the correct ticket when a phone or Apple Watch is tapped, enabling gates and turnstiles to open in a flash.
VTAP readers can be installed inside existing turnstiles and gate hardware, or can be provided as part of a new access solution. They are fully compatible with existing systems and RFID cards and tickets.
Strong security
Visitors with valid tickets enjoy fast and convenient access to the venue, and to VIP areas as well, since NFC wallet tickets are highly secure. Ticket data exchanged over NFC with VTAP readers is encrypted, leveraging the security architectures of Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Unlike QR codes, NFC tickets cannot be copied through simple screen-grabs or photos.
