Easy upgrade from QR
VTAP NFC ticket readers work with any Apple Wallet and Google Wallet pass or ticket issuance platform that supports NFC, using standard Apple and Google APIs. NFC Wallet passes can include dynamic functionality to enhance the event experience, multi-day tickets and season passes.
Seamless visitor experience
NFC Wallet tickets do not require any mobile coverage or Wi-Fi to find or use them. Apple iBeacon support enables ticket reminders when near a reader, minimising friction even further. Wallet tickets can also be updated after interactions, enhancing the overall visitor experience.
Improved security
Unlike QR codes and barcodes, NFC passes cannot be copied through screen grabs and shared fraudulently. NFC-enabled digital tickets and passes are protected by the strong security of Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, plus securely read by certified VTAP readers.

Legacy technology support
VTAP readers work with RFID cards, tags, wristbands and fobs, enabling support for, and migration from, existing ticketing technologies. Readers can be used to directly replace existing QR code scanners or work seamlessly alongside them.
Flexible integration
VTAP readers simplify migration to NFC Wallet tickets for turnstiles, ticket kiosks, access gates and handheld devices. VTAP readers can operate gates and turnstiles directly, without the need for additional door controller hardware.
