VTAP NFC reader boards and modules are fully certified for use with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet as well as having multiple radio certifications
The VTAP range of embedded NFC Wallet reader boards and modules offers quick and easy integration into any new or existing product, housing or environment. Several form-factors are available, including a surface-mount module supplied in tape and reel format for mass production. Alternative antennas and semi- or fully-custom NFC readers can also be quickly created from our established library of designs. As well as Apple VAS, Google Smart Tap and Apple ECP2/Access approvals, our standard reader boards and modules have modular FCC and ISED approvals, along with CE RED/UKCA test reports. This should simplify intentional radio emissions testing of your final product in many geographic markets and radically improve time to market.

Powerful connectivity
All boards and modules support USB and RS-232 3V3 serial interfaces. SMT module adds SPI and I2C. The VTAP command protocol and secure OSDP protocol is available over any serial interface.
Universal card, tag and wallet support
Apple VAS, Apple ECP2/Access, Google Smart Tap, HCE, MIFARE, DESFire, MIFARE2Go and NFC Forum compatibility.
Choice of antennas
Our reader boards come with an integrated, tuned and certified NFC antenna while VTAP reader modules support external and custom antennas which we can help to design and/or tune to suit the environment.

VTAP25 NFC reader module - USB and serial
Embedded surface mount reader for quick circuit board integration and easy certification.
Form factor
Tiny surface-mount NFC reader module. Requires external antenna and supports external serial RGB LEDs. 3.3-5V power input with low power modes.

USB (requires external filters). 3V serial UART, I2C and SPI.
